Industrial & Ranch Storage Buildings The newest innovation in Farm, Ranch, Industrial and Acreage Storage Solutions |
Erecting Portable Buildings This building was assembled and erected in eight (8) hours with a crew of 6. It just happened that it was 12 degrees below zero in Billings Montana, which just make for cold hands |
Assembly of the beams consists of attaching the cross-bar connectors. This is done on a level location to assure the connection points are square
Three assembled the beams while 3 set them in place on the bottom frame. You will need a 12' ladder, but no waiting for forms to be laid, foundations to be constructed.
Main Beams are done, preparing to set up the end frame and door frames. A metal building would take weeks to get this far.
Assembling the end framework
Installing the Fabric begins with the end walls
Both end side panels are laced to the frame
The Fabric Door is installed using lacing.
The main fabric is attached with ratchets to one side of the building, then using 3-4 ropes over the building the other side is pulled over the frame.
Once the fabric is in place and laced to the ends, ratchets are tightened to pull the fabric tight.
The finished Fabric Portable building, complete with sign for the AG show.
Equipment is brought in and the 2 inches of snow and ice is melted from the pavement with Hotsy Heater. These diesel burning heaters did a great job.
Ken's-I90 Hydrabed's are now on sale
One heater keep the building warm, the daylight let in means lights are not needed during the day, great for Machine Shed, Calving barn etc
The floors are all clear of ice, the earth mover is ready for the show.
Need pens - Someone's being sold something. Calving Barn, Sheep Shed, work well in the Fabric Building
Steve's goose-neck horse trailer is being well protected
